****mers who misrepresent themselves to trick you into signing with them

Someone contacted me claiming to be from CarTrack. The individual advised that they were instructed by my insurance to contact me regarding product offerings. I advised the individual that I would not be able to afford a secondary tracker and he assured me that this deal would actually result in me paying less on my car insurance.

After signing up I called my insurance to advise them of the tracker installation and queried my discount at which point I was advised that they had no dealings with CarTrack. I was sold a product under the pretence that they referred by my insurance and that by taking up the product I would be eligible for a discount on my insurance premiums.

CarTrack has been calling me almost daily for almost a year, trying to get me to pay for their device of which I advised them each time that they need to send me a copy of the contract/recording of the sale to prove that they misrepresented themselves. The contract was taken up under false pretences and they been unable to send me this recording.

I have not been handed over to some debt collection company and my credit record has been flagged which is causing issues with my securing another job as I am a bank employee. I need this resolved as soon as possible!!!

It is beyond unfair that I need to pay for a tracker I do not use and was ******* into signing up for.
