I had an account with Cartrack which was settled and I got confirmation from Cartrack that my account was settled. I then recently got a new car and called Cartrack last week to get a new tracking device on the vehicle and to my surprise I was told that I have an outstanding balance of R183.00 and I need to get that settled before they can install a new tracking device for me, I explained that my account was settled in February already and I spoke to a gentleman by the name of Stanley who helped me and confirmed that there is no outstanding balance on my account and arranged for my new tracking device to be installed which was done yesterday. I called Cartrack today to test my new unit and to my surprise I was told I owe Cartrack an amount of R1800 and they cannot confirm my vehicle location for me, guys I have been talking to Sally Moeketsi in the past whom confirmed when the last debit went off on my account, I did email customer service last week regarding this issue and until today no one has gotten back to me. So Cartrack is telling me that they will not be able to assist me in an event my car is ****** or hijacked because according to them I owe them R1800 and I DO NOT OWE CARTRACK anything, my account was settled months ago. Maybe I should just cancel this whole contract and get a new tracking device with another company as I was planning on doing that from the moment I started getting hell from Cartrack. I am so annoyed and angry because of this incompetency and I will NOT allow this to continue anymore, if Cartrack does not get their act together I am cancelling this contract.
