I want it OUT!!!!!

On 17 May I have send an email to Cartrack asking why when I disconnected the battery on my motorbike 16 days prior I never received a phone call.

The mail, to this date, never received a reply.

Suddenly I started getting calls from Cartrack that they need to send someone to come and check the unit in my bike because it seems faulty.

On Monday 19 June a technician arrives at my house called Louis. He wanted to know from us what he must come and do. I dunno you guys called us? We told him about our email of weeks ago and so we tried to backtrack now what the hell needs to happen that day. He also informed us that he never worked on a bike before. He made numerous phone calls to try and figure out the purpose for his visit and to great frustration to us all we came to the conclusion that the unit and the package and how the tracking system works were never explained to us. Louis phoned a technical guy that spoke to me and explained that the unit is not connected on the battery but on the ignition of the bike and hence we never received a call. This opened another can of worms. Louis realized that he had no purpose with us further and left for his next appointment and asked that we pls email Carel Kruger and Magrietha Gericke (George) to explain and investigate the bad service we experienced to date.

Tuesday afternoon late we receive a phone call again from a very arrogant Indian call centre agent via Jhb wanting to book another repair stating that they are not getting GPS signal from the back-up unit. We told him that Louis was there the day before and he had no record of this on his system at all. We asked him while he is now busy if he can arrange someone to pls change the unit to be connected to the battery and not the ignition. We will sign the disclaimer involved because the purpose we want the unit for will not work if it is connected via the ignition. He also told us that the Recovery Warranty that Cartrack rant and raves about is not valid for bikes. He said he will call back. He came back – still very windgat – informing us that they cannot do the connection to the battery because it will drain the battery in a day and the will be a fee of over R600 charged as well. That is not what was explained to us by the technical guy Louis had us speak to the day before. I then told the guy to send someone to come and remove the piece of ****.

Wednesday I get another phone call from a lady while I was driving wanting to explain the cancellation procedure to me. I was busy on another call and she was not prepared to wait for me to finish and she emailed me. Again I have to pay a fee of R2650 to get this **** removed from my bike.

Now my question is the customer service is non-existent, the communication between your technicians and your office are non-existent. The information that your staff share with us as customers to try and help us make informed decisions are inconsistent. We get referred to mail and request assistance from management (Carel & Marita) – because your staff on the ground is so pathetic. No comment or call from them either. The unit in my bike is based on me informing you – when we asked if we can change or upgrade to a plan that is better we were told no we can’t by Mr Windgat Indian……..so how is this product of yours user friendly and where is client centricity is this freaken equation. To date we still cannot make an informed decision but all I want is that **** removed and I will NOT pay the fee. I get failed as a customer around every bend and we asked questions trying to accommodate the pathetic service and honor the 3 year contract that was signed but you make it absolutely impossible! Come remove the **** at a fee of R0.00 pls.

Oh and every single ****** time your agents call I tell you to speak to my wife and update your system that she may deal with the accont and every freaken time we have to go thru the same drama where is has not been done!
