I have installed cartrack more than a year ago

I have installed cartrack more than a year ago. I came on holiday 400km from home and my car battery just died off. Bought a new battery from BMW. The BMW technician said that I must get cartrack to check my tracker as it is draining my vehicle battery. Car track now wants a R600 call out fee to check their device which just cost me R7350 for a new battery. Please advise as I feel this is totally unfair and unacceptable.
