Huge fee to exit contract - what contract?

I sold my car and wanted to cancel my car track since i no longer needed it. <br> <br> I was told to pay a large amount to cancel my contract and that i was in fact locked into a 3 year contract. <br> No contract was sent to me, nor was it read to me.<br> <br>
