Horrible service and rudeness by Cartrack, they do not care about people's lives

I would like to share my ordeal with Cartrack, such a terrible, appalling and selfish service from their consultants.

On 23 October 2021 between 18h00 and 20h00, my car was hit by a local taxi small driver (a Mazda 323, old model) and tried to flee the scene. A scuffle engulfed between us where the driver called a back up of taxi drivers who came and hit me together with a friend who then ran away.

The taxi drivers and their association forcefully opened my driver's door with a sharp object to gain entry so they can tow my car, my car key was with a friend who ran away. They could not enter the car but damaged the door. Another friend came later with the key while they were busy trying to tow the car. I called 911 to no success, police passing didn't stop.

I called Cartrack to advise them that my car was being taken forcefully from me, the consultant said they could not intervene because the car is not ******. I am paying R130 premium per month, what does recovery on the premium mean? I wanted them to help me recover my car.

The car now has a damaged right front door, bumper and starter. The taxi association in Tembisa did not want to give me my car and demanded a release fee of R5000 or else I must forget of ever getting my car back.

What am I paying them for when they could not assist? Shouldn't you be assisting me against the untouchable taxi drivers and their associations?
