False Marketing

I would like to raise my concern regarding a promotion offered by Cartrack.

I was informed that if I referred someone to subscribe to their services, I would receive a reward of two free monthly instalments as per the promotional offer. Based on this understanding, I recommended the service to another person.

However, instead of being credited as promised, I discovered that my account was be debited. This is completely contrary to the terms of the promotion as I understood them, and it has caused frustration and disappointment.

I have since informed the person I referred that I did not receive the promised benefit. As such, I have advised her not to recruit others under the expectation of receiving two free months, as this may be misleading.

I believe this matter requires urgent clarification, and I request that Cartrack review the promotion and honour what was communicated or provide a clear explanation for the discrepancy.
