Don't ever sign a contract with Cartrack!!!!!!!

I would give them negative stars if I could!

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I had to relicence my car during lock down and that was pleasurable in comparison to dealing with this abomination of a company.

I never heard from them unless I was calling them because the cell phone app wasn't working, which was all the time. Then when canceling the contract was told that is all fine and thank you for my patronage.

About a month later my account was debited again. I phoned them again to find out that they had not canceled anything. So I tried to cancel it again. Understand that by this time the car was sold and owned by someone else. This time round I was told that there was a cancellation 'fee'(the cancellation fee happened to be about 15 times the monthly payment)! I requested that they send me the contract as I could not recall agreeing to a cancellation fee. They said that they would send it through to me. They did not. Following month they debited my account again.

After much back and forward they eventually sent me a contract. My signature could not be found anywhere on it. I called them again. They said I agreed verbally to it. I said can I please be send a copy of this recording. After calling them again they managed to send me a audio file. I was unable to play it on anything that I had. I had to request it in another format. They did resend 1 that I could play. On the recording I did under much duress agree to the cancellation fee. I went on to pay the cancellation fee and the outstanding amount that was owed for the month that I thought the contract had been settled but had not. So they were tracking a car that I didn't owen. Which sounds ******* to me, but I digress.

They then debited my account the following month. Which firstly, put me into overdraft, and then because I didn't rectify the overdraft quickly was a bounced debit order. All great for my credit rating.

Then the phone started to ring from Cartrack. You account is over due. I would explain the story in full and ask that they remove my number and account from their books. I had the same call and discussion 5 times a day with 5 different people from Cartrack for about a week. Then the emails started.

Cartrack explains that they would be taking legal action and many threats were made.

Eventually, I managed to get an email out saying that nothing was owed and that my account had been cancelled.

The following month they debited my account again.

I have now actually closed the account at the bank as I refuse to pay this company any more money.

They still phone me asking for money that I supposedly owe.

Don't do it. Any other company will be better.
