***** CarTrack shenanigans
I installed CarTrack on 17 Feb 2020. On 01 March suddenly i received a call that my device is faulty, and my warranty has expired, therefore I have to pay for someone to come and fix the device. Tracking companies don't have a regulatory body. The consumer protection act and competition commission will be contacted.

05 Mar 2021, 17:07Cartrack came back and offered me lifetime warranty for the device at R30 per month. This is obviously the scheme. Once the 1 year warranty expires, they make it as if the device is faulty and needs to be repaired at R600 callout fee. Between cancelling the contract and 600 callout fee, one basically is forced to take the lifetime warranty. It is a well coordinated scheme. Thanks a ****** million useless punks.
