Dis-satisfied exiting customer

I have no complaint about the Cartrack staff, however their manner of doing business leaves a lot to be desired. You pay a monthly subscription for a service that includes a device to track your vehicle. If the device, that remains their property according to the terms and conditions, goes faulty, and you have had it for more than a year, then you have to pay for them to come and repair it. The first question I ask is how can they provide a service, that is not monitored to ensure quality service, if their device is faulty. I should be able to request credit if they cannot provide me with the service they are selling, through the device that they retain ownership of. So typical knee jerk reaction, cancel the service with them, then you have to pay to have the device removed, which is the same as the call out.

There is no consumer satisfaction from this company what so ever. They just hide behind their T&C's that are one sided to the company.

To add insult to injury, when they installed the device in my vehicle, I had to teach their installer how his equipment was supposed to be connected.

Well thank you to Cartrack for getting back to me very promptly, however it has taken me a few days to formulate this response.

The solution given to me by Cartrack, was to upgrade my service to a more expensive service to forego the once of cost to repair their equipment. Hell no I am upset with them already why would I want to spend more money with them.

Then lets discuss the removal of their equipment that remains their property, this is still a chargeable transaction that I am unwilling to pay, if they want their equipment then they can come fetch it, I offered to remove it for them and all they had to do was collect, Nope not gonna happen, so I asked the question as to how they will get it back, either I take it to their centre to have it removed, OR.... it can remain in my vehicle and thats the end of it. I advised the I will remove and keep it nice n safe for them, and the response was thats fine thank you for your time. So much for keeping their assets.

Anyway, choosing another supplier now.
