Debit Order for a non existing unit
My car was written off in 2007, There was a tracking unit installed by cartrack at the time and was on its 2nd year of the contract when the eventuality happened.
I advised cartrack that the car was involved in an accident and the insurance has decided at that it was uneconomical to repair, this was as I received a call alerting me of the low battery power on the unit, something I expected on this situation given a non running damaged car in a compound somewhere.
I was told they will reconcile my account with the pro-rata payment towards the end of the contract period and revert back to me. I have made endless calls every year since to be told different stories, I even joke to say I would be happy if they can at least assist me in recovering the car since I am paying the premiums for a unit and this is usually for a working trackable unit, I have been told that the unit can not be tracked and went out of radar as in 2007 but to my surprise I am still billed religiously by debit order 8 years later.
I have resorted to believing this to be an investment kitty and expect a refund with interest for all the monies that I have been putting aside by these debit orders.

Regards,
Ignatius
