Contravention of Consumer Act - 20 Days notice required if your car is sold, written off etc.

I sold my car on 26 Feb 2025 and I am now told that I need to give them 20 days notice. When we called cartrack to arrange to cancel the existing tracker and arrange for the new tracker for the new car to be installed on 6 March 2025, we were not told about anything and was assured that the contract has lapsed.

Now all of as sudden, we NEED to pay for a car we no longer have as well as the new one. This is an unreasonable, ********* and ******** requirement by Cartrack. This is in contravention of my rights as my rights are removed and the Consumer Act as I should be able to cancel the tracking just like I cancel my insurance.
