Complete Violation of Privacy and Zero Accountability

I have called Cartrack six times regarding a serious issue, and it is STILL not resolved.

My phone number is linked to someone else’s vehicle account, which is a direct violation of the POPIA Act. I do not own this vehicle, I do not know the owner, and yet I keep receiving calls and system alerts about it.

What makes this even worse:

I have been called at 2 AM “to check if everything is alright”, about a car that is not mine.

An agent confirmed my number was removed from the account, but this was clearly not true.

I was contacted AGAIN about the same vehicle with the same registration number.

No agent has taken ownership of this case or followed up.

I have had to repeat the same story every single time.

This is not just poor service, it is negligence, and a breach of data protection law.

Cartrack’s failure to fix something this simple shows a complete lack of care for customer privacy and basic customer service.
