CARTRACK - ************ without end - stay away from this company

To Whom It May Concern, My name is W.W. Hinz. I am a 74-year-old South African citizen who has been unemployed since 18 May 2023 due to a serious work-related injury. Due to resulting financial distress, I was forced to sell my delivery vehicle, XNZ 661-GP, to cover medical and living expenses. Cartrack was formally and repeatately informed in November/December 2024 of the sale, and full details of the new owner were provided. The new owner is aware of the tracking device and has accepted all associated obligations as per sales contract. Despite this, your company continues to target me with persistent harassment and ************ via telephone calls demanding payment. Let me state the facts clearly: • I have a month-to-month agreement with Cartrack. • I have always paid timeously for my remaining active vehicle, HG23BX-GP. • I am not in possession of any formal contract or terms and conditions—only a handwritten agreement created by your sales representative at my premises. • I have made repeated written attempts to cancel tracking on the sold vehicle since October 2023, all of which have been ignored. • I no longer receive monthly invoices, yet I continue to pay reliably for the service I still use. The conduct I have experienced from your staff—repeated aggressive calls demanding money without regard for the context—constitutes ******** ************ and a gross failure of customer service. I am appalled by your inability to resolve a simple administrative matter and deeply concerned about how Cartrack treats its customers, particularly elderly individuals in vulnerable positions. If your team is incapable of actioning a basic update to reflect the sale of a vehicle—despite receiving all legal documentation—what confidence can any customer have in your ability to provide reliable service? All relevant documentation is available upon request, including: • Proof of vehicle sale and registration in the new owner's name • Payment records for my remaining vehicle • Copies of cancellation notices This message also serves as formal notice of intent to escalate the matter to: • The National Consumer Commission (NCC) • The Consumer Goods and Services Ombud • Public platforms and media outlets Please regard this as an official complaint and take immediate steps to: 1. Terminate tracking and billing for the sold vehicle XNZ 661-GP. 2. Cease all threatening and unnecessary communication to myself. 3. Provide written confirmation of the above, and a proper breakdown of my current billing status. Sincerely, W.W. Hinz ***
