Cartrack (Pty) Ltd *****ulently Denies Valid Warranty – Avoid This Company!

I entered a 2024 contract with Cartrack (Pty) Ltd (Reg. No. ***) on 26 July 2024, which explicitly includes a 3-year Limited Recovery Warranty (Clause 10). My vehicle (FK69BVGP) was ****** on 2 October 2024, well within the warranty period. Despite complying with all terms—reporting the theft to Cartrack and SAPS within 6 hours, providing a sworn affidavit, case number (CAS 123/10/2024), and conducting quarterly unit tests—Cartrack ********ly rejected my claim.

Cartrack’s Gross Negligence:

Misrepresentation: Legal officer Tebogo Seloga erroneously cited an expired 2019 contract (for a different client, Mr. Michael Anton Koen), ignoring my 2024 agreement. This is a blatant misrepresentation of facts.

Administrative Failure: Customer service manager Kavitha Lalla confirmed updating my email address (***) in November 2024 but failed to escalate my claim internally, leaving me without support.

Breach of CPA: Cartrack violated Sections 41 (fair dealing) and 54 (warranty compliance) of the Consumer Protection Act by refusing to honor valid terms.

No Accountability:

Tebogo Seloga (Legal Department) dismissed my evidence and refused to review the 2024 contract.

Kavitha Lalla (Customer Service) ghosted all follow-ups after acknowledging administrative errors.

No resolution after 4 emails and 6 calls over 3 weeks.
