CARTRACK - POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I took a contract with cartrack in 2020 March just before COVIT19 was announced as national disaster. They installed a unit in my superlink sidetipper trailer and a flat deck trailer, and I was informed that as soon as the trailers get pulled by a horse(truck), they will automatically activate. Which was not the case in this case. I reported the matter a number of times to their call center. Case numbers were opened to check the units. Technicians attended to these calls but the unit of sidetipper could not activate. The flat deck was sitting at the boarder of Zambia and Congo for weeks and they could not locate it. I spoke to the supervisors, to the managers and I even requested the CEO's details to escalate the matter due to frustration. The matter was not resolved at manager level, I was provided with the incorrect CEO's email address. I reported the matter to the complains department, and I was ignored. I ended up cancelling the contract as it served no purpose. I was told I owe cartrack the whole 3 year contract for the service that is not rendered to me. I stopped paying the monthly premium and I was handed over to the lawyers Viljoen Attorneys Tel ***. I explained my journey with cartrack to the Attorneys and nothing was done. I am threatened now and then that I will be listed if I don't pay the outstanding balance.

Cut the story short, the trailer ended up getting ****** and they don't know the whereabouts of the vehicle and they are not taking any responsibility for the unit that is not working.

Terrible terrible customer service. I recommend no one to even try cartrack for your vehicles, they are the worst with customer service. Try other service providers.
