Cartrack, MiWay's preferred tracker partner does not care
Cartrack... Cartrack.... Cartrack....
It's a pity I do not like many hands touching my car, especially for installing and uninstalling devices. Had this not been the case I would terminate the relationship with Cartrack which forced onto me by MiWay.
On the 4th of August your Agents sold me your device over the phone claiming it had certain specs. I eventually called in and sent email only to reach a solid wall "we will get the recording and get back to you". I am still waiting. Furthermore, To this day i still do not enjoy the full features of the product i signed up for however i am still paying. Your app has failed several times and it is still failing.
I was told it does not work well with Apple phones, please all your potential csutomer know what they are getting themselves into. Also please tell them that you only care when its time to sell your products but you are not interested with aftercare. In fact you could not be bothered.
anyway... hope others do not get the same treatment as i did. As for me i will be coming to see you at your offices as Sending emails does not help at all. You guys just do not care.
We note your concern. Please accept our apology for the inconvenience. We will investigate and are confident that this matter will be resolved.

I was called on the 18th of September 2020 and the following transpired:
I was Promised to be sent a link to assit me to access a profile on the mobile app. The SMS was sent on the 18th of September 2020 however sadly, the link still didnt allow me to access my account and monitor my car.
I was also promised to be called on the 21st of September 2020 to address the fact that I have a non-functional tracking device in my car (New-car) which never happened. I was only called on the 7th of October (yesterday) where I was told that the nearest date to sort out my non-functional device will be on the 20th of October 2020. Please understand that I have been paying my premiums for a tracker on a new car from the 6th-8th of August. At this point, I asked for a letter that will cover the risks that I was a paying customer will be exposed to for the next 13 days if I am sitting with a non-functional tracking device on a new car. so the lady at Dispatch could not give me this letter and referred me to client services.
So now I got through to Kim at Client services who could not give me the same letter and just gave me a confirmation stating that the tracking device would be inspected on the 20th of October only. So I tried explaining my livid experience but Kim could not understand so I stopped and asked her to assist me to escalate my problem to the team leader, Mpho. I also asked for the Customer services manager's name, Mrs. Tina Guntsa. Through this, Kim was reluctant to give me the information and at some point, she even rushed to end the call and went silent for over 3 minutes thinking maybe I would hang up, I never just waited for her to return to me and she did. I asked her not to end the call unless I say bye and to also call me back should I get cut off. I asked her to transfer me to the team manager, where I ended up holding for longer than 15 minutes without any assistance until I got cut off.
today I called again and reached Kim whom I asked to transfer me to the customer service manager and who I could not get through again. I got through to another person who stated that he is a team leader, Mr. Shirkira Josh. I asked him for the person who is in a higher position as Mrs. Tina Guntsa could not be reached every time I needed to reach her as a client. So I was told its the CEO Mr. Harry Low and that I could not get his contact as he can not just give his contact. So I asked him to get me into contact with someone who would help me cancel my contract with cartrack. He told me that he could not do it as it would cost me R2000 and that he had to be done by the Managers, so I made it clear that I would not pay that R2000 and that they had to make a plan to cancel my subscription because I having been paying my premiums for close to three months and the device has not been working all this time and their service has been poor. after ending the call, i was suddenly called by the Technicians who all of sudden have time today and i told them all i want is to get the contract canceled and to be contacted by the managers.
so in short, guys know what you getting yourself into. I am now embarking on a process of looking for another service provider and even if i have to pay increased monthly fee, I will gladly do so.
