Cartrack is ruining my life – I’ve paid, I’ve cancelled, but they won’t stop harassing me

I don’t normally write reviews like this, but I’m exhausted, angry, and honestly heartbroken by how I’ve been treated by Cartrack. It's a long story, so I'll try to summarise.

I cancelled my subscription after paying every single cent they asked for, including their ridiculous R3,977 cancellation fee. I have proof of every payment, and I’ve tried to follow the process. But despite this, Cartrack continues to:

- Call me several times daily - Threaten me over a “debt” that doesn’t exist - List me with credit bureaus – which is now damaging my credit score - Block me from getting a new tracker, so my car is now at risk - Refuse to send confirmation of my cancellation

Worse than that, I was verbally harassed by one of their agents (innocentia or whatever her name is) when I asked for help. She refused to give me a simple email address to send proof of payment and wouldn't let me speak to her manager. No one ever followed up.

This has gone way beyond bad service — it’s become a legal and emotional nightmare. I’ve lost hours of my time, I can’t sleep properly, I’m constantly anxious, and I’m genuinely scared of the damage this is doing to my name and future. I’m now forced to take legal action to protect myself.

I feel helpless and angry because I did everything right, and I’m still being treated like a ********.

I don't recommend Car Track to anyone. According to my experience with them, if you ever need to cancel or fix a mistake, they will not help you. They will harass you, damage your credit, and ignore your rights.
