Cartrack is a predatory company

I signed a contract with Cartrack in 2024, and all was well for the first few months. I received a call from Cartrack asking if I wanted to add breakdown insurance on top of the TRACKER for, I believe, R69. I said yes; it made sense. If I needed petrol or if my car broke down, they'd send someone with petrol or a tow truck for assistance. The total cost went over to around R230. A few months after that, I received another call saying I needed to add tracker lifetime insurance for the maintenance of the tracker, as they said on the phone if my tracker was misbehaving, they'd send a technician to fix it. This time it was about R70, bringing the total cost to about R309 for the tracker + maintenance and the tow services.

A few months after that, the tracker begins to misbehave. I am told to take my car to a branch to get it sorted. I remind them I'm paying for the lifetime tracker maintenance and that they should send a technician, and I won't be paying until it is sorted; they failed to send a technician. I continued paying for 3 more months, and the tracker still was not fixed; I decided to reverse the last 2 payments, thinking maybe they'd send the technician to fix it. They failed to do so. They kept on stacking up the bill for the past 7 months and asking me to pay for it for something that doesnt work and which they refuse to fix. Cartrack is a **** and should be avoided at all costs.
