Subject: Complaint: Faulty Unit & Unfair Charges

Dear Cartrack Team,

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I have received and would like to formally lodge a complaint.

I have had a Cartrack unit installed in my vehicle since 2019. Recently, the unit stopped working due to what appears to be a dead internal battery — which is not caused by any damage or negligence on my part. Despite this, your support team has refused to repair or replace the faulty device unless I pay a repair fee, as if I personally damaged the unit. This is completely unfair.

The unit is clearly out of service through no fault of my own, yet I am still being charged a monthly subscription for a service that is not working. If the tracker is dead, how exactly do you plan to recover my car in case of theft? This defeats the entire purpose of having Cartrack installed.l And do not dare tell me about 1year warranty. This simply means that you know very well that your devices battery wont last for a year . So why **** us into paying another fee for battery replacement? The tracking device battery is way too different than a vehicle battery but eitherway vehicle batteries comes with 2years warranty.

I request the following: 1. Immediate repair or replacement of the faulty device at no cost. 2. Clarification as to why I am being charged for a non-functional service. 3. If you cant replace the battery for free then come remove your device. 3. A formal response explaining how Cartrack plans to prevent such issues in the future.

To be honest, the service I’ve received has been extremely poor and unprofessional. I expected better from your company, and I am deeply disappointed.
