CarTrack Installation Damage, Lies and Extremely Poor Service

CarTrack came and Installed a Tracking Device on my Vehicle 18/02/2019. After completion i Inspected my Vehicle and everything looked Professionally done. As the Technician was about to leave i had to stop him to request the Insurance Certificate.

Whilst he was completing the paperwork i went back to my vehicle and Noticed a Silver piece of plastic lying on my floor. I asked the Technician if this was from my Vehicle and he advised me that it was from one of his Tools. I requested that he show me the Damaged tool in order for me to put my mind at ease. He opened all 3 of his Tool Boxes and was unable to show me the "Damaged" tool. I went back to reinspect my Vehicle and looked at all the Silver Trim on my Vehicle. I found the Silver Trim on my Dash sticking out a little more than the rest and investigated.

The silver plastic piece i found was part of this Trim and actually clips into the Dash. This was completely Broken off. I called the Technician and he said Oh ****. No apology or anything. I reported the Damage on the paperwork and called CarTrack immediately. I was advised that i needed to speak to their repairs department who informed me that someone will be in touch with me shortly. On 19/02/2019 i had to call them again due to no one getting in touch with me. Once again i was advised that they will call me back now. Still no Phone call.

This is a Brand New Vehicle that was collected on 15/02/2019 and has only done 575km so far. The vehicle still has the Temporary Registration.

This is unacceptable, Poor Service. I would not Recommend anyone to make use of their Service.

Lastly the fact that the Technician tried to lie about the "Damage" and blame it on his tools just shows how Professional they really are. This is seemingly worrying that they can not be trusted.

Insurance houses should stop insisting on having these devices fitted. Because these "professionals" have no sense of respect for our vehicles.
