Cartrack, general bad experience and a safety concern for single women driving older cars.
Poor Service received. I never struggled with a car battery draining untill a year or two after installing the Cartrack, and I have my car for almost 7 years now. I have a an old model car which the tracking device affects more quickly then the newer cars of today. They keep sending messages that the device was tested and working good, However in the same month in 2019 the united started draining my car battery. Their technician replaced the unit after informing me the unit is dead and faulty. The next morning my car battery was flat agian, this time a senior technician came out and once again there was problems with the unit. Now in April again my battery got drianed on three separate occasions, caused by somthing else, I recieved no notifications or calls that the car battery is flat, only about 1 to 2 hours after I noticed it and some one came to jump start me did they send me a notification and call. I cancelled my rental today and even having this experience still have to pay the cancellation fee. Single Women please think carefully before using them. Transferred to 6 people in their callcentre before I came to some one who understands my problem without constantly want to explain the technicalties of their product's working and thier policies.
