CARTRACK - FULL OF NONSENSE ( NON PERFORMANCE)
I was hijacked on the 24 May 2019, around 7 and was released at approximately 22H00 /23H00, when I was released I went to the police station and where I wrote a statement and I first called the bank and secondly contacted Cartrack, which my account was in areas and the debit went during the carjack,
When I call the company, the guy by the name of Percy from Control room that they cannot help as my account was in areas, at no point did he give me time to or practice the Ubuntu and said I must pay R 25 000 for disclaimer fee, I mean who has that amount of money when hes carjacked, He was supposed to say at least send me the screen shot of the debit going through and I will dispatch the team, he insisted that I must pay that amount.
I then called again the following day on the 25 May 2019, using someones phone and not even to bother to contact for call back as all my phones were ****** from me. I was sent from Pillar to post and in that process I lost my luggage and three phones. On the Service agreement point 1.13 which reads Loss” - The hijacking and/or theft of a Vehicle, in which event the Client is responsible to immediately notify Cartrack if the Client has a Unit with the SVR; 1.13. “Product” – the Unit and/or the value-added services selected by the Client. I did all that but I never received any performance. is it a good company for tracking your assets? no.
Three weeks later I was contacted by the nice lady Pamela who was doing a follow up whom I think didn't even know if the car was recovered or if her team was dispatched. I demand that at least replace my luggage and one of the phone as the car was not even recovered by you, it was recovered in Mpumalanga by the police. I suffered emotionally and non- spoke or called me instead I called many time to be send from pillar to post. I even struggled to request information as they continued to tell me that in order for them to do that they need R 25 000
