Cartrack experience
If I could give no stars at all, I would. Anyone who is looking to install a tracking device on their car, assets, etc please do extensive research on the matter. I called cartrack and explained to the sales agent the type of vehicle I have and he recommended one of their products. I happily agreed to the prices and signed up for their 36m contract. After installation of the tracker, it didn’t work. I ignored this red flag and contacted them (sales agent). He requested additional time which I was happy to give him in order to sort out the whole issue. After a few days, the tracker was on but it didn’t work as discussed. I contacted him again, they sent out a technician and the technician pointed out that the type of tracker I received would give me problems and that it’s not ideal. He sent the feedback to them and I also contacted them to find out the next step. I tried to cancel but I was told that I am liable for their cancellation fee even though I’m not the one who asked for the particular tracker/product. Since he is a “professional”, I trusted his recommendations, I’ve been going up and down with the agents and managers. No one knows anything about anything. The only calls I received from them, are payment calls. They won’t stop deducting money from your account no matter what. You will travel up and down to their offices and you won’t get any help. They’ll give you phone numbers and email addresses but after a week, they will stop contacting you. Please cancel the contract immediately if you encounter any problem with their service. Don’t wait or try to give them a chance to fix their mess. They know that you only have 5 days grace period to cancel the contract without any fees. After that, they don’t care. They will literally show you their ugly side and sadly, those friendly agents will pass you around to other departments when it hits the fan. Please read the reviews. Do not ignore them. I regret ignoring them. If you read them and still decide to signup, read the contract and do not give the agents a chance. As soon as you see a fault within 5 days, cancel immediately and look for another supplier. If you want to stick with them, don’t give them time while you still under contract. Cancel it and specify to them that you’ll signup again once they sort out the issue with their trackers. They have a few new products that they themselves know nothing about. Even the technicians who come out to install them. So be very careful. Rather go to another supplier even if it means paying more. These guys will give you sleepless nights and they don’t care as long as they get their money. Save yourself the trouble and headaches. Avoid them at all costs!!
