Cartrack doesnt allow cancellation which is againg CPA

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with Cartrack and their refusal to adhere to the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) regarding the cancellation of month-to-month contracts. Their “law” retention tactics and complete disregard for clients wishing to cancel services are unacceptable.

1. I (VUKE00275) cancelled my services on 09 August 2025…morethan 20days now 2. My Father (SELO00663) cancelled his services on 08 August 2025….Morethan 20 Days

My Father and I we were told that cancellation is impossible since I still owe them. The amounts kept pilling Up.

They keep sending endless and summons threatening emails despite us sticking to our cancellation.

I sent an email to their accounts department, clearly stating my intention to terminate the services immediately & My Fathers, since he is an old man and doesn’t have an email/smart phone. This email was sent from the address registered on my Cartrack profile.

According to Section 14 of the CPA, consumers can cancel a month-to-month contract at any time by giving the supplier 20 business days’ written notice, without needing to provide a reason for the cancellation. Cartrack’s accounts department ignored my email and continued to debit our account monthly. • For me Due to financial restructuring, they debited an account no longer in use, incurring multiple penalties. These penalties would not have occurred if they had comp**** with the CPA and cancelled the service as directed. The CPA does not require specific forms to cancel month-to-month contracts. • For My Father Car track successfully debited his account despite the cancellation logded.

On I received a cancellation email in respect on my father,saying his services are cancelled, But Zinhle,Berenge,Buitomelo, and Banele are going ahead sending emails demanding money from my father

As for me iam continuously harassed by emails, calls etc saying I should pay or I will face bad credit record for upto 30 Years, where have you had a bad credit lasting up for 30 years,Pre Handover Latters?? (Sandile,Rachel,Tebatso,Windy,Teboho,Mohau,Lucky,Leshoko,Selinah,Thabiso,Andani,Mumtaaz,Kabelo,Thato,Buitomelo,Lawreen)

Cartrack and their lawyers are now harassing us, demanding lot of moneys and ignoring my CPA-compliant cancellation notice. Their collections attorneys, Viljoen Attorneys,

I welcome a real summons not the Faux emails, as I believe any judge will recognize my right to cancel the contract and see through Cartrack’s arbitrary date changes. • I will also be seeking reimbur*****t for the banking penalties incurred due to their non-compliance. a These are all true and verifiable facts. The arrogance of Cartrack’s accounts department in changing my cancellation date and insisting on additional payments is unacceptable. • My Father too is seeking reimbur*****ts for the amounts deducted despite the cancellation being logged. Please stop taking advantage of Us.

We have cancelled the services, and we are free if you will like to de install the unit..
