Cartrack Dashcam is absolute *******. DO NOT GET THIS!!!

I have both a Cartrack tracking unit and a dashcam. The tracking unit works perfectly.

The dashcam is a whole other issue. the only thing I can do properly through the app is live stream. This is the second unit installed. the first stopped working less than a week after installation.

I am trying to download three 5 minute footages of an event this afternoon. I started the download at 16h46. At this time, only the first video is done. How is this possible when I can download a 2 hour movie in 30mins but cant download this video.

Also, the car needs to be switched on to download footage. So my car has been on for the past 45 mins. In a life and death situation or accident, "proving my innocence" as advertised is impossible. How do you download the footage of an accident if the car doesn't have power in an accident?

In my opinion, Cartrack falsely advertises to entice clients to take the dashcam without telling them the absolute horror it would be should they want to download footage. Even your installers that came though to install both units, didn't provide any manual or information on how to use it. I got instructions from your camera support.

I completely regret taking out this dashcam contract and am even doubting the tracking capabilities based on my experience with the dashcam. Yet, if I want to cancel this, Cartrack won't waive their cancellation fee even though the service promised with this unit is not being received by me the client.

Complete ******* of a dashcam, I wouldn't advise anyone to get this for personal use. Rather spend the cash and but one from somewhere else.
