Car track is useless

I was involved in an attempted hijacking recently when I pressed the panic button i have from car track no one called me nor were the authorities alerted.

I tested the button out again today - same outcome... no one called me nor were the authorities alerted.

Why am I paying a monthly fee for something that doesn't work yet I am tied to a term/period that I need to continue paying them.
