Car Track has very poor customer service and has no humanity.

My father passed on during COVID. He made arrangements with Cartrack to install one of their trackers on my mother's car. The debit order was made on one of his banking accounts and the account was taken out on my mother's name. My mom had no idea whatsoever that she has an account with Cartrack, because he did not inform her.

When my dad passed on, we kept on getting communication from Nimble (Legal Institute) via SMS that my mom's account is in arrears and that Cartrack has given us over to them.

It was at this point that we made contact with Nimble and for the first time learned that she had a Cartrack account. We explained the situation to Nimble and they were kind enough to charge us just what was outstanding and dropped the interest charges. They advised us to show proof to Cartrack that we have settled the account and ask them to remove us from the credit Bureau's blacklist.

We then proceeded to make contact with Cartrack, we explained why the account fell into arrears and hoped that they would drop the blacklisting charges, since we wanted to continue making use of their services. They refused to drop charges and said we have to pay. We then proceeded to pay the blacklisting charges and asked them to send us proof that we have paid for blacklisting charges.

After countless communication via their different communications channels (Email, phone call and Whatsapp) and multiple sending of the same requested documents, I finally received the document today, after 3 weeks back and forth communication.

Today only, I had to send 200 plus Whatsapp texts, before they rep**** to me.

Businesses like them are so quick to take you to lawyers without warning. Then when you settle your things they drag their feet, not caring about the challenges and frustrations that come with being blacklisted. They have no humanity whatsoever and are only chasing profits. They are very disorganized and I would not advise anyone to take up their services.
