Car track dash cam. Seems like they donot work as advertized

Worst. Sales man ignored my plea of de instellation. On the 3rd of june. Probably 3 days after intsellation

To make a long story short there is now a 14 000 rand cancellation fee. They are trying to push down on the customer. Which wpuld not have app**** but As my query was ignored this is now where we are

Dash cam. Lagging video. Works 50% of the time you cannot monitor anything like this

Original salesman. Is gradually dissapearing into the the back ground

Prior to writing this post. I spoke to nikki du preez who seems very helpfull. And is also escalating it further. As i will also be forwarding screenshots. Of said convertsations. With. The now missing sales rep

Lets hope car track can resolve this problem. As i will be needing to install my own system once they get theirs removed

If not i will be cancelling my other 2 tracking systems that i have which are atleast near their end date. To offset costs incurred on the dash cam system

As for now. I donot know if i can recommend them

I have a matrix systems in my other vehicles. Atleast there. I have no issues

It also took 2 days. For the installer to install the camera. Messed up some wires and he had to come back and managed to remove my vehicles entire fuse box. He also admitted that is was his first install of this kind

Prior i was assured by corne gunter that the installer has done 100s. Of them

I am scared to let them touch. My vehicle again. As i already have some short cirquits because of this. I suppose its the price you pay when you allow back yard mechanics to touch youre vehicles. This said. I wonder how Cartrack's units will fare against a ******** that knows the job better than car track. It will either be very easy for them. Or they will rather leave the vehicle as the wiring is probably shot.

Corne gunter. Really talked me into something i should've ran from

The private reply i have recieved. Funny how the onus still gets put towards the customer. I have defnitely not blocked any number that will be able to assist me in getting the poor hardware removed from my vehicle


I would also like to cancel. My other car track packages at this stage.

I fear what might happen when they actually need to recover a vehicle
