Car damaged during device installation
The technician damaged the steering wheel during installation of the device with a sharp object that looks like a *****driver. They sent out an inspector who called me unreasonable for reporting such and said there is no way the technician would get to the steering wheel even though he was sitting on the drivers seat while working holding a lot of sharp metal tools. I regret using cartrack, instead of a tracker I have a brand new vehicle that's less than 30 days old with a steering wheel that has a hole and will start peeling. I will be taking this matter further to ombudsman and social media.

17 Jan 2026, 04:09With all due respect, your generic responses are very irritating and frustrating right now because you have shown zero interest in fixing my issue.
There is lack of accountability from the technician that worked on my vehicle and the inspector who came out to inspect the damage whom judging by how he insulted my intelligence and said my nails that do not have sharp point damaged the steering wheel. He denied to account before he even looked at the damage and no analysis whatsoever of the profile of the damage and how far the object went in.
I only found out later from colleagues that cartrack service is horrible. To anyone who want to install a tracking device, please try another service provider. Cartrack is not worth it.
