Cancellation tequired

I have been trying to cancel the “contract” with cartrack for quite some time since selling my previous vehicle. This morning I received an email indicating that a cancellation fee is applicable to the tune of R1700. The old unit can not be transferred to my new vehicle since I am no longer in possesion of the the vehicle. Surely this is against the CPA and a consumers right to cancel
