Cancellation of tracker debit order

I had a Toyota Etios that I had a tracking device installed in by CarTrack (referred to by MiWay), I dealt with a lady by the name of Faith Madlolo. The car was involved in an accident last year and was written off and when I called CarTrack to cancel the tracker because it's pretty obvious that I won't be needing it anymore, I was told that I'm bound to a contract and had to pay a certain amount in order to cancel.

When signing up I was not told about this and think it's really ********* that I am made to pay for something that I obviously will not need anymore. If I had been told about this, I would have not persued the tracker from Cartrack. I am really unhappy with this and need a prompt response as I am paying quite a bit monthly
