Cancellation

I have tried cancelling my contract for the past year now and they refused or they expect me to pay a large amount in order to cancel , they call you and offer add on services and tell you that you are free to cancel anytime but when you want to cancel they tell you that you can not . I asked many times to down grade my contract but they refused to giving me exhorbitan amounts to pay before the cancel . Can someone cancel this entire contract
