Bike written off but cancellation cannot be made.

I had the cartrack installed in my bike, when I called to alert them that my bike has been written off, I was told I still have to pay for something that doesn't exist anymore..I didn't mind paying my premiums if the bike was still here. I was told that there's an astronomical amount I have to pay for cancellation. That was not explained to me when applying for one. The premium that I took was for R120. When I wanted to locate my bike sometime last week I was told that they cannot locate it unless there's a vehicle around the same vicinity that has got cartrack installed in them that's when they can be able to locate the bike. So sad.
