********* behavior by Cartrack

Another review regarding my dissatisfaction with Cartrack. After fighting to have a technician come assist me with assessing the tracking device that was terrorising my life because of a battery drainage no one could fix the problem until the tracking device had to be disconnected and my car stopped experiencing any problem at all.

However, being Cartrack they made sure they debited my account every month since then even though they could not track my car because the device was disconnected by their own technicians who could not solve the problem. Officially had to cancel the contract and very unhappy about the fact that the accounts department keeps calling about the arrears of the months that their device was disconnected and not working.

A contract works both ways - both consumer and provider have obligations and Cartrack failed at theirs when they installed a faulty device + could not fix the problem which means non performance. At my wit ends right now as I do not think I even need to pay the cancellation fee because Cartrack violated their own contractual terms.

Do yourself a favour and listen to all the reviews people leave for this company and stay away. You’ve been warned.
