Bad Service!! Delayed Response!! Waranty a ****!!!

I bought a brand new car and had cartrack fitted as i was advised by my insurance company to do so. They fitted the unit and told me about all the great benefits and features of their product. I was told that if my car was ****** they pay up to R150 000 out to the client if they cannot recover your car. I was told that if your car drives at higher speeds than normal they can pick it up and also if it travels into areas you do not normally drive to. They then call you to check if all was okay. They have all sorts of tamper alerts and and and and.....Needless to say i was extremely impressed with their features and benefits.

About a month and a half after i had the unit fitted my car was ******. It happened at about 1:30 in the morning, while i was fast asleep. I received a call from Cartrack at 4am( 2.5 Hours after the car was gone already) Said they received a tamper signal. I checked and was faced with the harsh reality that my car was indeed gone. I immediately went on the the fancy app that they installed on my phone and on this you can see where our car is and what speeds it traveled, can see if the ignition is on or off, roads traveled ect... I could see my cars last location was Soweto, but it had in the 2 and a half hours already traveled to Roodepoort, stood somewhere for a while and from there to Soweto at extremely high speeds. 1. The car was locked so obviously they had to tamper or do something to get it open and then start the car. 2. They were traveling 180 in 60 zones 3. The car was traveling in strange areas that i have never driven to in that car. 4. Its was crazy hours in the morning 5. On the app i could see all sorts of violations that had been broken as the ******* were making their getaway

During all of this i never got a call or sms or anything from cartrack asking if it was me or anything whatsoever. I was woken by a call from them once their fancy device has already been removed! 2 and a half hours later!!!!!

I assume they eventually sent out their team to the cars last location where they found their device, car not in sight!!! I would assume they searched for a while and then nothing from them again.

Anyways now Im faced with the fact that there is no way to track the car anymore and it has probably already been stripped. So needless to say the car was never recovered. I contacted Cartrack as i know they have this fancy warranty stating that they are so confident in their product and service that if they don't recover your car they pay out up to R150 000.

I was given a lot of paperwork to fill in and then the wait started......The car was ****** on the 21st of July, i received a rejection letter for my claim from them on the 30th of October!!! That's 3 months of numerous calls to them emails ect with no feedback or service from them whatsoever, you are always told the person is not available or they have no feedback or just really no interest in assisting you at all.

Their rejection letter came through with quite frankly no actual reason for why the claim was rejected!! I believe that if they had done their job from the start as they so proudly advertise the car would have been recovered and they would not have had to honor their warranty!!!

This company is a bunch of ******!! They take your money and then do not hold up to their part of the deal!!

Please do not use these people!! I will make it my personal mission to make sure that Cartrack is exposed for the ****** that they are!
