Bad communication

My car was written off in April i called them to cancel my contract they said i took 3 years contract, i didn't fight them i kept on paying until its time to buy another car when i got to the dealer where i bought my first car i was told that i was not in month to month contract. The person who was helping me to clear my name asked them to send recording of the contract they are failing to do so and they been taking my money.
