What a terrible service from Car Tracker. Please guys stay away from this company.

On Friday, 25 July 2025, I went to Car Tracker for a scheduled tracker installation appointment at 12:00 PM. Upon arrival, I handed over my car keys to the assigned technician, Mr. Zainudien Carelse, and returned to work, as I had been informed that the installation would take a few hours.

At the time, all my personal belongings, including my banking cards, were left inside the vehicle. Notably, my Nedbank card was placed visibly on the dashboard.

I returned to the Car Tracker facility at approximately 3:45 PM to collect my vehicle. Later that same day, I received notifications indicating that my Nedbank card had been used without my authorization.

Upon checking my vehicle, I discovered that the Nedbank card was missing. As Mr. Zainudien Carelse was the only individual with access to my vehicle during the installation period, I have reason to believe the unauthorized use of my card is directly linked to this access. I reported the incident to the manger Enricko at Car Tracker Facility, 255 DURBAN ROAD, BO OAKDALE, CAPE TOWN where the incident happened, but he ignored my emails. I called the head office, and they said they would investigate. The technician was caught on camera tampering with the card.
