I was bamboozled by this company. They informed me that I could get up to 21% off on my insurance premium if I install a DashCam. But this was a blatant lie. There is no prominent insurer in South Africa that offers a reduced premium for installing a dash cam. In fact, a dash cam is listed as an accessory by your insurer, and it can increase your monthly premium.

And now the dashcam isn't even working, and it's been a week. The ticket is open, and there is an unclear and unhelpful response. I find this company not very trustworthy.

I now understand why they have anti-consumer penalties worked into their contracts. I just hope that this experience is not foreshadowing heartache when I need them in a theft or hijacking situation.
