A ticking time bomb!!!

My wife's car and mine have cartrack units but my wife's car has lost battery power twice in August and they've never called meaning we only realise there's no power when we start the car, sometimes after a week..this gives me the impression that even when my wife's car is being stripped they wont see and it'll be successfully ******! Meaning we're paying for a useless tracking device.
