Poor Cartronic Battery Brand supp**** by Carter Agencies

Spent R4 000 on buying 2 new deep cycle heavy duty Carter/Cartronic batteries at the end of January 2018. At the end of November 2018 (10 months later) before load shedding started with minimal power outs at our home, both batteries stopped functioning and proved to be faulty. Had inverter tested, and in perfect condition. Approached Sales Manager Mr Alan Sherr to be told that there is no guarantee on their batteries, and all excuses presented by Mr Sherr as to why Carter Agencies are repudiating my claim for replacement batteries or a money refund. Excuses presented were "Both batteries were hit by a lightening strike, both hit by a power surge, overcharged batteries, invertor faulty etc etc.

Shocking company to do business with Carter Agencies - suppliers of Cartronic Brand, unreliable product, ********* when it comes to claims, and an attitude of disregard
