Neglecting serious nature and conservation issues

I just watched Carte Blanche charity contributions add and couldn't help but wonder why such a huge social platform would only concentrate on pedeatric and children charity which in itself a good thing but would neglect nature conservation, our planet and animal welfare. In a country where so many animals and nature are being neglected who clearly needs all the help, awareness and support it can get, the biggest TV journalist platform decided not too?
