NOT CARSPA, CAR SCRATCH

I took my car to CARSPA Fourways Crossing for a full car wash. I am a frequent customer to this car wash and take my vehicles there every fortnight. On this occasion, when I got back to pick up my vehicle, I was totally flabbergasted to see a deep 7cm scratch next to the driver side door handle. It was as if someone had deliberately run a key on the driver side door. On the other side of the vehicle, the wheel arch was grazed quite badly as if the vehicle was brushed against a pole whilst driving the vehicle from the car wash bay to the drying area. <br> <br> After viewing camera footage with the manager, we could confirm only that there was no existing scratch on the driver side door when the vehicle was brought in. The other side of the vehicle could not be seen from the camera's position. The owner of the car wash phoned me and made all sorts of excuses for not accepting liability for the damage, stating that I could not prove that the damage was caused by them. I'm disgusted at his apathetic attitude. I'm now forced to claim from my insurance for this (to value of R 9000). I'd like to appeal to all customers not to use this car wash or risk suffering the same fate as I have.
