Car's r us sold me a car that had too many mechanical problems. At first the car seemed to be in a good condition after a couple of days driving it, it started giving me problems .So I decided to take the car for a overall check at VW and paid R2000 . VW qouted that the car has airbag errors, oil sensor errors, it needed break pads replacement, cv joints replacement, breaking lining replacement, reverse lights were not working, and break lights were also not working, seat belts were not working, the hand break was loose, the engine had no cover underneath, the tiers we old , the spar wheel was a wrong size, the battery was a wrong size and fitted and its service plan didn't make any sense it seems like it was forged. Its clear that they did not do a COR on the vehicle before selling it to me and putting my life on a risk and selling me a car that is not road safety.

The bank financed me 200k and I deposited 50k into the dealerships bank account. I then realized that the finance had a ballon payment on top of my 50k deposit which they didn't discuss with me.

I then decided to take the car back to them and asked them to cancel my contract between the financial institution and them and bring back my deposit so that I can go and buy a car somewhere else. They refused and suggested that they will fix the car in their back yard garage and give it back to me . So I decided to leave the car with them and login a case with the Ombudsman . The ombudsman is dragging the case it's been 2 months and I am still paying for monthly installments for a car that I am not driving.
