I bought a car from CARS R US in Umngeni in November 2023, at first the car seemed fine just had a loose handbrake, I took it back to them and they fixed that and the car came back with a funny smell. December the car started failing,like it had no power at all. January 2024, the car failed again and it crashed, requested them to help me with getting it towed back to garage, but no they did not, I eventually managed to get hold of the warranty company and the car was towed back to them, The whole of January the car was with them, they said they waiting for warranty company to reply to the claim. The warranty company than requested a service history, I went to Hynduai to get it only to find that the car was last serviced in 2021, mind you when I asked them about the history they told me to look for it online. So the warranty company rejected the claim due to the service history not being up to date. So now Cars R us are saying I must pay if I want the car fixed or I must collect it and have it fixed somewhere. They are now shifting the blame to me saying I was negligent. Now they are threatening me telling me that they going to charge me for storage. My advice to anyone looking for a car, look away from CARS R US, they are *************, unreliable and they do not know how to treat a client. They are bad at doing business. They even communicate with you, it even took them days to send me all my documents, had to go there with a USB and force them to send the documents That business should be closed down, they are robbing people. I really wish I had seen all the reviews before purchasing a car from them.
