Terrible attitude

I was interested in buying a vehicle advertised on Gumtree.

When I contacted the sales person, Wazlo on the number provided on the advert, he did not formally introduce himself, it was a straight forward "Hallo" and no formal introduction as being a dealership call, e.g. Wazlo speaking good morning.

Even though I though it strange, I still proceeded with the call and asked a few basic questions related to the vehicle. When I requested if I would be able to send the vehicle to the AA for inspection at my expense, Wazlo got irate and told me I was WASTING his time and I must go to Opel to buy a new car, as he expressed there is nothing wrong with the vehicles and he has many calls for the car.

By no means would I have expected the vehicle to be fixed in any way, I just needed to confirm for myself that I am not buying a lemon for my money and end up spending same amount of money as buying a NEW vehicle.

I am a cash customer, with the full amount in my hand. I believe he should be able to appreciate the fact that I would be able to buy the vehicle outright, if not that one, maybe another. Why on earth would he need to give me attitude and such bad service, and to top it off - he is the owner of a dealership?

At least I found this out before I wasted my time entering his shop floor.
