I purchased a 2016 BMW 1 Series from Cars on Ridge in January 2025. I was assured that the car had a full service history and had recently been serviced. Less than a month later, the car broke down due to a low engine oil warning and eventually shut down completely. After towing it to their workshop, I was first told it was a faulty oil sensor. Later, they claimed the car had flooded at their premises — something that happened after they took custody of it. Since then, I have struggled to get proper feedback, and the dealership has been largely unresponsive. My insurance will not cover the damage because it occurred at the dealership, and despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, there has been no accountability from Cars on Ridge. I have since escalated the matter to MIOSA, as I believe this dealership misrepresented the vehicle’s condition and failed to provide the full service history as promised. Customers should be cautious when dealing with Cars on Ridge — ensure everything is in writing and verified before making any payment.
