Car sold - but to someone else

<p>This is a family business that could not be run worse. I spoke to the little brother of the business Jacques various times and informed him that I will be purchasing the car an hour after I viewed it (they sent the car to Pretoria for me to view after a first round of no one at the business doing there job). I asked him if a deposit would be needed at which stage he informed that no deposit would be needed and that "the car is mine". Also informed him that I would need to withdraw funds from an investment to pay for the car and proceeded to load the withdrawal for the investment, I also advised that I would be able to make full payment 3 business days after the withdrawal. I followed up with Jacques daily and even negociated new tyres for the eventual owner. Jacques all the while advised me daily (when I phoned him) that all is in order with the car and that they are just finishing one or two small odd jobs and that the car would be ready for collection on Saturday. When the funds for the purchase landed in my account on Friday I phoned Carrep 4 times to get the banking details and was advised that the car was sold to another. It was at this stage that big brother stepped in and advised that the car was sold. I had to make a withdrawal when the market was at the Brexit low and am consequently out of pocket as a result of these ******s. No apology, no nothing. Stay away from these clowns. </p>
