i went to carpawn/assetwealth in october 2019 to get a loan against my vehicle. the agreement was paying back the loan amount with interest within a 4 month period while i still get to drive my car. in january 2020 which was supposed to be my last instalment i was unable to pay, and mid-month they came and repossessed the vehicle. few days later i went there to try and settle the amount, so i can get my vehicle back, thats where i got to see these people for who they truly are. i found the employee by the name of dumisa who had initially helped me with the loan, he told me i cant settle the amount and i have to talk to his boss chad rose. they have been ignoring my emails and my phone calls, they have changed my ownership papers, some of the numbers dont even operate. it is the end of march and i have been ****med. they have even doctored the initiall contract to something totally different. now i have to pay an amount way more than what was agreed upon, apparently the whole time i was driving my car, according to them i was "renting" it, things they dont tell you when you go get the loan, so now i have to pay the settlement amount ontop of what i have already paid while "renting". i tried settling and all i get is the run arounds. please advice on how i can move foward with this issue hence ive been there several times without getting any help and being given the run arounds, the employees seem to be hiding their boss hence they dont even give out his real numbers.
