Poor workmanship and Service!!!
We dealt with the previous owner and was his customer for more than 1 year. He looked after our fleet of 24 vehicles and did a fairly good job at it. Under new management and ownership, Marinda, the wheels fell off. They struggled for more than 3.5 hours to fix the lights on a trailer and bakkie, the conclusion was that their technician caused damage to more than R1000 to the trailer's electrical system and left wires hanging with the following statement: "Sorry can't fix it, it's a big f*ckup." And left. A bakkie was in the meantime at their workshop for many weeks, trying to "fix" a problem to get it to start. After many mackgiver tricks, it still did not work. Finally they brought it back and said the real problem is the battery is too small! A few days later, Marinda came to my office on our request to discuss the way forward. She promised to get better mechanics and we said we might give her another change but because she took so long to get to us, we had to appoint another contracter. Weeks later she phoned to demand payment when asked what for she rep**** for the "fixing" of the TATA. It was put to her that she had fixed nothing the problem is a battery that is too small because problems started with it after the battery was ****** over a weekend break-in at our premises. This took them months to realise that the problem was a battery. She rep**** that she will write it off. Then mentioned the second outstanding invoice, repairs on a forklift, we do not own a forklift, never had one on our premises. Our neighbour across the road owns one though. When questioned what forklift, Marinda then said just leave it: "You haven't got money to pay it, so I guess I will write it off" This is the WORST, HORRIBLE service we ever had, we have NEVER dealt with such stupid and *********** people. Issue invoice on equipment not owned/rented is ridiculous. OR maybe they are just plain *****. Johannesburg motor vehicle owners beware NOT to use these Clowns!
